Meet Greg Durocher, CEO of Safe Ride 4 Kids
Greg Durocher is the founder and CEO of Safe Ride 4 Kids, a child safety company that he operates with his wife, Amie Durocher. Safe Ride 4 Kids aims to provide solutions and products to keep families and children safe while riding in vehicles. Their unique safety solutions, including the Tummy Shield and the RideSafer® Travel Vest, are designed for ages conception to birth and ages 3 to seat-belt ready. Greg is a Child Passenger Safety Technician Instructor since 2001, and he also spent more than 15 years as a firefighter and paramedic. Greg says, “Our mission at Safe Ride 4 Kids is to help parents and caregivers transport children safely in the car because we all know that driving in the car is the most dangerous thing that we as parents and caregivers do with our children daily.” Greg’s goal is to prevent vehicle-related injuries from happening and provide preventative safety techniques to parents and caregivers. He says, “If I can help a parent or caregiver properly restrain the child that they’re transporting, that child is safer every time that he/she is on the road.”
It was great to meet and work with Greg Durocher. He is incredibly passionate about child passenger safety, and the work he does every day is life-saving. We know that you will find Greg’s lessons informative, helpful, and a great way to introduce yourself to the many elements that go into choosing and safely installing child car seats.
